Shimmering
Nelle collezioni esposte sono presenti look dove si scopre un denim come non si era mai visto prima, non più opaco, ma lucente. Negli outfit presentati osserviamo diverse manipolazioni del tessuto come le impunture che danno un effetto plissé. Il denim viene visto da una nuova prospettiva, non solo pret-a-porter ma anche elegante e raffinato, si creano così capi unici da utilizzare anche la sera.
Si prosegue con capi che si ispirano agli anni 20 Hollywodiani che vogliono mostrare le due principali tendenze di quel periodo, da una parte lo stile Grande Gatsby e dall’altra il tailleur che inizia ad avere successo nella moda femminile.
I due stili vengono integrati fra loro rendendo anche un capo semplice come il tailleur più attuale, con tagli e perle.
Per alcuni dettagli ho preso spunto dalle decorazioni architettoniche art déco, come si può notare in alcuni tagli particolari sulle maniche o blazer con strutture in metallo sovrapposte.
In the exhibited collections, there are looks where denim is revealed like never before, no longer matte but glossy. In the presented outfits, we observe various fabric manipulations, such as stitching that creates a pleated effect. Denim is seen from a new perspective, not just ready-to-wear but also elegant and refined, resulting in unique pieces suitable for evening wear.
The collection continues with pieces inspired by the 1920s Hollywood era, aiming to showcase the two main trends of that period, on one hand, the Great Gatsby style, and on the other, the tailleur that begins to gain popularity in women’s fashion. These two styles are integrated, making even a simple piece like the tailleur more contemporary with unique cuts and pearls.
For some details, inspiration was drawn from art deco architectural decorations, as can be noticed in certain distinctive cuts on the sleeves or blazers with overlapping metal structures.
