In questa collezione ho deciso di prendere ispirazione dalla psicologia
specialmente dal disturbo dissociativo dell’identità.
Nel disturbo dissociativo dell’identità, in passato definito disturbo
della personalità multipla, due o più identità si alternano nel controllo
della persona.
Questo disturbo è teoricamente legato all’interazione con uno stress
intenso, traumi antecedenti, storia di nutrizione inadeguata durante
l’infanzia e un’innata capacità di dissociare i ricordi o esperienze
vissute. Un’altra percentuale di pazienti affetti da DDI segnalano aver
subi to abusi durante l’infanzia, soprattutto quelli che ne sono stati
vittime durante la prima e la seconda infanzia.
Partendo da questa definizione sono arrivta al tema vero e proprio.
In un universo parallelo dispotico e patriarcale viene decretato che
tutte le donne affette dal disturbo dissociativo dell’identità verranno
mandate su un altro pianeta per far combattere i due alter tra loro.
I due alter, messi in corpi separati,si dovranno scontrare finchè una
avrà la meglio su un altra. Quando questo accade la persona che
rimane verrà reintrodotta nella società. Il rifiuto da parte della società
di persone con questo disturbo provoca nella donna uno stato di frustrazione
e rabbia.
La collezione oltre a sensibilizare sulle malatti mentali ha anche la
funzione di criticare la società patriarcale ed è indirizzata ad una donna
che non vuole vivere costretta ad essere quello che non è e vestirsi
solo per compiacere sé stessa e non gli altri.
Queto progetto è inoltre una critica al concetto di “donna oggetto”
dando anche un taglio sportivo ai capi.
Per quanto riguarda la palette di colori è abbastanza basica, vengono
usati colori freddi come il verde militare e il blu; vengono usati inoltre
anche colori come nero, panna e grigio.
Rispetto ai tessuti vengono usati sia tessuti per abbigliamento naturali,
come cotone e lana, ma anche tessuti tecnici.
Negli outfit si nota un continuo interscambio di tessuti differenti, questa
scelta viene dettata dalla necessità di rendere i look confortevoli e
pratici.

In this collection I’ve decided to take inspiation from psychology
expecially from the Dissociative identity disorder (DID).
The dissociative identity disorder, previously known as multiple personality
disorder, is a mental disorder characterized by the alternation of
two or more identities that alternate on the control of the person.
This mental condition is related to a post-traumatic stress disorder,
childhood trauma and personality disorders.
Another percentage of DID patients report being abused in childhood,
especially those who were victims during early childhood and second
childhood.
Starting from this definition, Icame to the real theme.
In a despotic and patriarchal parallel universe, it is decreed that all
the woman with dissociative identity disorder will be sent to another
planet to make the two alters fight each other.
The two alters, placed in different bodies, will have to fight until one
has the better of the other. When this happens the person who remains
will be reintroduced into society.
The refusal by society induce the woman cause a state of frustration
and anger in the women.
This collection, as well as making people aware of mental illness, has
also the function to criticize the patriarchal society and it’s
referred to a woman who doesn’t want to live forced to be what she is
not and wants to dress only to please herself and not others.
This project is also a a criticism of the concept of the woman object
also giving a sporty cut to the garments.
The color palette it is quite basic there are, cold colors such as military
green and blue and colors such as black, cream and gray.
The fabrics used for this collection are both natural fabrics, such as
cotton and wool, but are also used technical fabrics.
In the outfits there is a continuous interchange of different fabrics,
this choice is dictated by the need to make the looks comfortable and
practical.
