Sognare ad occhi aperti nel mondo visto attraverso i vetri colorati di rosa, la nostalgia e il conforto dei ricordi passati hanno ispirato questa collezione. Le tonalità rosate e le immagini del film Grand Budapest Hotel di Wes Anderson creano una collezione che si tinge di fantasticheria. In uno spazio di sonno e sogno, le silhouette rilassate e sartoriali degli abiti da notte maschili degli anni Trenta hanno ispirato le silhouette del Dreamers Hotel e i tessuti di classe selezionati. Attraverso i tessuti ho cercato di fondere l’arazzo di ricordiche si trova negli interni, simili ad album, dei bar in rovina di Budapest, con le forme delle vecchie chiavi deglihotel come marcatori del mondo passato ricordato nel Grand Budapest e in questa stessa collezione. Prendendo David Bowie come il sognatore che abita l’hotel Dreamers, ho tratto ispirazione dalla sua sartoria asimmetrica oversize e dalla sua estetica stravagante; la sua androginia nella moda ha giocato con la sartoria senza genere della collezione, dando il benvenuto a chiunque di indossare e di esistere in essa. La collezione è stata firmata per avvolgere una persona in uno spazio confortevole, un sogno ad occhi aperti.

Daydreaming in world seen through rose tinted windows, a fondness of nostalgia and the comfort of past memories inspired this collection. Rosy hues and visuals from Wes Anderson’s the Grand Budapest Hotelcreate a collection tinged with reverie. In a space of sleep and dreaming, the relaxed yet tailored silhouettes ofmen’s nightwear from the 1930s inspired the silhouettes for the Dreamers Hotel, and the classicly stiped woven textiles selected. Through textiles I sought to fuse the tapestry of memories found in the scrapbook like interiors of the ruin bars of Budapest, with the forms of old hotel keys as markers of the bygone worldremembered in the Grand Budapest, and in this collection itself. Taking David Bowie as the dreamer whoinhabits the Dreamers hotel, I drew inspiration from

his oversized asymmetric tailoring and whimsical aesthetic, his androgyny in fashion played into thegenderless tailoring in the collection, welcoming anyone to wear and to exist in it. The collection was designedto envelop a person in a comfortable space, a daydream in itself.
