L’attesa

L’attesa viene generalmente intesa come momento assolutamente statico e immobile, nella quale ci si trova inerti, ed in questo stato di quiete non si fa nulla. Analizzando invece più approfonditamente questa parentesi temporale in cui tutti ci siamo ritrovati almeno una volta, al suo interno si scorgono tensioni che si generano e alimentano. In un contrasto tra fermo e mobile, pesante e leggero, origina una capsule che si basa sul contrasto tra strutture rigide, pesanti, quasi monolitiche (ma estremamente morbide) e materiali leggeri e volatili, impreziositi da ricami.Il tutto correlato da uno scorrere del tempo, quello dell’attesa, che sì “altera” i capi ma arrichendoli.

Waiting is generally understood as an absolutely static and motionless moment, in which one finds oneself inert, doing nothing.
However, by analyzing more deeply this temporal parenthesis in which we have all found ourselves at least once, one can glimpse tensions that arise and are nurtured within it.
From a contrast between stillness and movement, heaviness and lightness, a capsule collection is born, based on the interplay between rigid, heavy, almost monolithic (yet extremely soft) structures and light, ethereal materials enriched with embroidery.
All of this is accompanied by the passage of time — the time of waiting — which “alters” the garments, yes, but by enriching them.
