Ombrage – A Leather Goods, Footwear and Jewellery Project, esplora in maniera profonda e visionaria i contrasti primordiali che abitano l’essere umano: luce e ombra, bene e male, positivo e negativo. Un percorso estetico e concettuale che attraverso l’uso della pelle e del legno indaga le dimensioni nascoste dell’individuo, trasformandole in forme di consapevolezza e creatività. Ombrage è una collezione gender-fluid di pelletteria, calzature e gioielli che unisce sperimentazione materica e artigianalità. Il progetto utilizza pelli pregiate come il New Zealand Lamb Leather, caratterizzato dalla sua grana irregolare e materica, e il calfskin con finiture in foil parziale, che enfatizza gli effetti di ombra e luce. A questi si aggiunge l’uso del legno, reinterpretato come elemento strutturale e decorativo: il bamboo, per i dettagli delle borse, e il faggio, lavorato con tecniche innovative per la realizzazione dei tacchi. Il risultato è un’estetica primitiva e ancestrale che mette in dialogo materia e simbolismo.

Ombrage – A Leather Goods, Footwear and Jewellery Project explores, in a profound and visionary way, the primordial contrasts inherent in the human condition: light and shadow, good and evil, positive and negative. It is an aesthetic and conceptual journey that, through the use of leather and wood, investigates the hidden dimensions of the individual, transforming them into forms of awareness and creativity. Ombrage is a gender-fluid collection of leather goods, footwear and jewellery that combines material experimentation with craftsmanship. The project employs fine leathers such as New Zealand lamb leather, characterised by its irregular, tactile grain, and calfskin with partial foil finishes, which accentuate the interplay of shadow and light. In addition, the collection incorporates wood, reinterpreted as both a structural and decorative element: bamboo for bag details, and beech wood, crafted with innovative techniques for the creation of heels. The result is a primitive, ancestral aesthetic that sets material and symbolism in dialogue.
