Molte persone quotidianamente nutrono un forte senso di ansia e stress che in genere non viene preso davvero in considerazione; con l’avvento della pandemia questo malessere è aumentato notevolmente. La vita frenetica porta le persone ad alienarsi dai valori intrinseci dell’uomo: la comunicazione verbale e la connessione con la natura. Gli studi di social prescribing affermano quanto sia importante ristabilire questi due valori come cura dell’ansia attraverso il dialogo e la cooperazione. La cura è la condivisione. Questo messaggio si concretizza attraverso la ricostruzione di nuovi legami tra i tessuti, una accurata scelta di materia prima tessile e la rappresentazione di intrecci e di ricami fatti a mano. Tutta la collezione è plasmata nel rispetto del pianeta e delle persone; per questo tutta la materia prima proviene da mercati di seconda mano, che si occupano di progetti umanitari, e fine rotoli danneggiati. I capi sono impreziositi da bottoni fatti a mano realizzati con resina e fiori veri essiccati, così come gli anelli; i capi sono inclusi di etichette ricamate e piccoli loghi brand. Mi sono occupata di curare personalmente l’aspetto modellistico, con l’intento di minimizzare lo spreco dei tessuti e esaltare le strutture già esistenti. Ho realizzato due giacche smanicate e una borsa ricavata dal una delle maniche. Le scarpe sono di seconda mano e sono state customizzate da me attraverso l’implementazione di nuovi fori e stringhe intrecciate.

In everyday life, many people carry with them a strong feeling of anxiety and stress that generally it is not considered; with the arrival of the pandemic, cases have increased significantly. Frantic life leads people to alienate themselves from asset values of man: verbal communication and nature connection. Social prescribing studies suggests how important it is to re-establish these relationships like a cure to anxiety through debates and cooperation. Sharing is caring. This message is concretized through the reconstruction of new connections between textiles, a careful choice of textile raw material, the representations of twists and hand made embroidery. All the collection is shaped with the respect of people and nature; for this reason all the raw materials come from damaged end rolls and second hand shops, that supports humanitarian projects. The garments are embellished with hand made buttons, made with resin and real dry flowers as well as the six rings; the clothes are completed with embroidery labels and small resin logos. I personally took care of the modeling field with the idea of minimise fabric waste and make the most of the existing garments’ structures. I realized two jackets without sleeves and from one of them I made a handbag. The second hand shoes were customized with the implementation of holes and braided strings.
