The collection originates as a profound critique of gender identification, challenging traditional categories through the language of fashion. It draws inspiration from Plato’s Symposium, particularly from the figure of the androgyne—a being that unites the two original human genders and gives rise to a third possibility that transcends boundaries. The idea behind this project evolved as an act of rebellion against the constant external and internal judgment that often pressures us to abandon our authenticity, pushing us to conform for fear of being misunderstood or labelled. In this light, the collection is not only an aesthetic endeavour; it serves as an invitation to rediscover and embrace the freedom of simply being oneself, beyond any definitions.

La collezione nasce come una critica profonda all’identificazione di genere, mettendo in discussione le categorie tradizionali attraverso il linguaggio della moda. La sua realizzazione trae ispirazione dal Simposio di Platone, e in particolare dalla figura dell’androgino, un essere che univa i due generi umani originari, dando vita a una terza possibilità che superava ogni confine. L’idea alla base di questo progetto è maturata come atto di ribellione contro il costante giudizio esterno e interno, un giudizio che spesso ci costringe a rinunciare alla nostra autenticità, spingendoci ad appiattirci per paura di essere fraintesi o etichettati. In questo senso, la collezione diventa non solo un esercizio estetico, ma un invito a riscoprire e abbracciare la libertà di essere semplicemente se stessi, al di là di ogni definizione.
