Forget-me-not

Forget-me-not nasce dal desiderio di tradurre in abito il cosiddetto “momento della madeleine” di Proust: quell’istante in cui un sapore, un odore o una sensazione riportano all’improvviso a un ricordo lontano. È un attimo fragile e prezioso, che vive tra presenza e assenza, tra ciò che riaffiora nitido e ciò che inevitabilmente sfugge.

Da qui prende forma una collezione che racconta la memoria attraverso segni e tracce imperfette: pieghe che interrompono l’ordine, superfici che ricordano fogli accartocciati, forme che si stratificano come pensieri che riaffiorano. Ogni capo diventa l’eco di un ricordo, qualcosa di intangibile che, per un istante, si fa reale.

Forget-me-not was born from the desire to translate into clothing the so-called “madeleine moment” of Proust: that instant when a taste, a smell, or a sensation suddenly brings back a distant memory. It is a fragile and precious moment, existing between presence and absence, between what resurfaces vividly and what inevitably slips away.

From this arises a collection that interprets memory through imperfect marks and traces: folds that break the order, surfaces reminiscent of crumpled paper, shapes that layer like thoughts resurfacing. Each garment becomes the echo of a memory, something intangible that, for a fleeting moment, becomes real.
