Questa collezione ha come focus d’ispirazione la contrapposizione tra il mito dell’antica Grecia (sogno), e l’epoca moderna (realtà).
Il “sogno”, si affida a dettagli che richiamano La Grecia e che li rende subito riconoscibili, come tessuti morbidi, leggeri e dai colori tenui e luminosi che vanno a drappeggiare armoniosamente la figura. Lo scontro con la “realtà” che si insinua nel sogno infettandolo e trasformandolo, passa invece attraverso la scelta di colori scuri e spenti, tessuti dalla mano ferma, croccante, che appesantiscono la figura e ne nascondono le forme.
L’ equilibrio si ritrova grazie al giusto mix tra i due opposti.

La storia che racconto attraverso questa collezione parla di una donna del nostro tempo che vive come un disagio la realtà odierna, così fredda e costruita. Prende quindi forma il bisogno di evadere, quale modo migliore se non il rifugiarsi in un mondo fittizio? Il “sogno” di un mondo puro, fatto di luce e colori armoniosi, che rimanda alla Grecia antica e agli dèi dell’olimpo. Un luogo di cui sentirsi parte e che infonda sicurezza.
Questo mondo antico, idilliaco, fatto di bellezza e purezza, rimane però solo uno scorcio nella sua vita. Non potrà evitare che la realtà si insinui nel “sogno” trasformandolo a poco a poco.
La collezione si sviluppa quindi seguendo le quattro fasi della storia: la prima fase rappresenta l’evasione, il modo idilliaco, dove dominano colori tenui e lucenti declinati su abiti dalle forme semplici che si lasciano arricchire da drappeggi, sbuffi e arricciature. Tutto rimanda alla Grecia antica e alle sue bellezze.
La seconda fase rappresenta un primo passo verso l’involuzione del sogno. Lentamente e dapprima solo in maniera superficiale il mondo idilliaco comincia a cambiare. La metamorfosi ha inizio con l’accostamento di colori scuri alle stesse silhouette morbide e dalle forme rotondeggianti.
La terza fase incide più profondamente sui cambiamenti che la realtà applica al “sogno”. A partire dai colori sempre più scuri e cupi che si sposano a silhouette che perdono di morbidezza divenendo rigide, statiche.
La quarta ed ultima parte è quella in cui la realtà sovrasta totalmente il “sogno” inglobandolo. Le silhouette risultano completamente statiche, i colori scuri predominano ma non solo, anche le tonalità più chiare rimaste perdono di luminosità.
I look proposti, rivelano un mix and match di due stili evidentemente molto diversi tra loro. Da una parte l’ispirazione classica sottolineata da linee morbide ed eleganti, dal drappeggio alle plissettature, in completo contrasto con linee dal taglio moderno e geometrico, sostenuto da tessuti dalla mano ferma e rigida a creare un effetto cupo, oscuro.

This collection has as its focus of inspiration the contrast between the myth of ancient Greece (dream), and the modern era (reality).
The “dream” relies on details that recall Greece and make them immediately recognizable, such as soft, light fabrics with soft and bright colors that harmoniously drape the figure. The clash with the “reality” that creeps into the dream, infecting and transforming it, instead passes through the choice of dark and dull colors, woven with a firm, crisp hand, which weigh down the figure and hide its shapes.
The balance is found thanks to the right mix between the two opposites.

The story I tell through this collection is about a woman of our time who experiences today’s reality, so cold and constructed, as a discomfort. So the need to escape takes shape, what better way than taking refuge in a fictional world? The “dream” of a pure world, made of harmonious light and colors, which refers to ancient Greece and the gods of Olympus. A place to feel part of and that instills security.
This ancient world, idyllic, made of beauty and purity, remains only a glimpse into her life. You will not be able to avoid that reality creeps into the “dream” transforming it little by little.
The collection therefore develops following the four phases of history: the first phase represents escape, the idyllic way, where soft and shiny colors dominate, declined on dresses with simple shapes that are enriched by drapes, puffs and curls. Everything refers to ancient Greece and its beauties.
The second phase represents a first step towards the involution of the dream. Slowly and at first only superficially the idyllic world begins to change. The metamorphosis begins with the combination of dark colors with the same soft silhouettes and rounded shapes.
The third phase has a more profound effect on the changes that reality applies to the “dream”. Starting from the increasingly dark and gloomy colors that are combined with silhouettes that lose their softness becoming rigid, static.
The fourth and last part is the one in which reality totally dominates the “dream” by incorporating it. The silhouettes are completely static, dark colors predominate but not only that, even the lighter shades that remain lose their brightness.
The proposed looks reveal a mix and match of two obviously very different styles. On the one hand, the classic inspiration underlined by soft and elegant lines, from the drapery to the pleats, in complete contrast with modern and geometric lines, supported by fabrics with a firm and rigid hand to create a dark, dark effect.
