La collezione Cancel Culture tratta ed approfondisce il tema omonimo, traducibile con “cultura della cancellazione”, che indica un atteggiamento assunto da un gruppo più o meno vasto di persone che si schiera in una posizione antitetica e opposta rispetto alle azioni e alle parole di un individuo. L’intento è stato quello di studiare a fondo tutti i modi stilisticamente innovativi per tradurre il concetto di ‘cancellazione’. La ricerca è nata dalle prove personalmente sperimentate come le stampe che richiamano il calore del fuoco, le particolarità modellistiche che oscurano determinate parti del corpo o gli interventi artigianali che bruciano il tessile, sino
ad arrivare alla ricercatezza degli abbinamenti cromatici. E’ una collezione esteticamente forte e impattante, basata su contrasti materici, di volumi e shapes che conferiscono al progetto uno stile seasonless.

The Cancel Culture collection deals with and explores the theme of the same name, which can be translated as “culture of cancellation”, which indicates an attitude assumed by a more or less large group of people who take an antithetical and opposite position with respect to the actions and words of a individual. The intent was to thoroughly study all the stylistically innovative ways to translate the concept of ‘cancellation’. The research was born from personally experimented tests such as the prints that recall the heat of the fire, the modeling peculiarities that obscure certain parts of the body or the handcrafted interventions that burn the textile, up to the refinement of the chromatic combinations. It is an aesthetically strong and impactful collection, based on material contrasts, volumes and shapes that give the project a seasonless style.
