Borderline significa “oltrepassare il limite”. 

I progetti ATOM e S-TRASH traggono la loro ispirazione dal mondo punk, con la suola che richiama l’Atomium, il monumento progettato dall’architetto André Waterkeyn che si trova nel parco Heysel di Bruxelles in Belgio. La costruzione, realizzata in acciaio, rappresenta i 9 atomi di una cella unitaria di un cristallo di ferro. 

Nel progetto SNOWRAIL, invece, la suola è ispirata alla struttura geometrica della stazione di Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana, progettata dall’architetto Santiago Calatrava, mentre la tomaia prende origine dalle linee della tavola da snowboard.

Borderline means “crossing the line”.

The punk scene serves as the source of inspiration for the ATOM and S-TRASH projects, with the sole that recalls the Atomium, a monument created by architect André Waterkeyn and located in Heysel Park in Brussels, Belgium. The steel construction depicts the nine atoms that make up a unit cell in an iron crystal.

In the SNOWRAIL project, on the other hand, the sole was inspired by the geometric structure of the Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana Station, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, whereas the upper was inspired by the snowboard’s lines.
