Ricorderò sempre la prima volta in cui ho usato una macchina fotografica analogica, aprendo la chiusura del rullino, premendo l’otturatore, recuperando il rullino e aspettando che venisse sviluppato; l’intero processo si sentiva diverso da una fotocamera digitale e per la prima volta mi sono sentito coinvolto nel scattare la foto, anche se non ero nell’inquadratura. Questa serie è ispirata alle macchine fotografiche analogiche, dove basta un secondo per premere l’otturatore, ma il ricordo dura per sempre. Dopo una ricerca, ho estratto alcuni elementi legati al mondo delle pellicole – cartoni delle pellicole, forme delle pellicole, ecc. Per rendere i capi più pertinenti al tema, ho scelto tessuti di carta e negativi delle pellicole come materiali principali per completare la mia collezione. Per i dettagli dei vestiti, ho cercato di trasformare le pellicole e i cartoni in varie forme e li ho intrecciati nei vestiti, ristrutturandoli e riorganizzandoli, e alla fine ho dato vita alla mia collezione di moda ispirata al mondo delle pellicole.

I will always remember the first time I used a film camera, flicking the film trap, pressing the shutter, retrieving the film and waiting for it to be developed, the whole process felt different to a digital camera and for the first time I felt involved in taking the picture even though I wasn’t in the frame.
This series is inspired by film cameras, where it only takes a second to press the shutter, but the memory lasts forever. After researching, I extracted some elements about film – film cartons, film shapes, etc. To make the garments more relevant to the theme, I chose paper fabrics and film negatives as the main materials to complete my collection. For the details of the clothes, I tried to turn the film and cartons into various shapes and interspersed them in the clothes, re-structuring and re-arranging them, and finally giving birth to my film collection.
