A/M è una collezione alla quale tengo molto, legata alla mia famiglia perché è grazie a loro se ho realizzato interamente da zero tutte le scarpe che accompagnano i vestiti della collezione. Ho voluto riprendere e parlare della storia di mio nonno, di quello che ha fatto nella sua vita, di quello che ha creato. La mia idea è stata quella di incentrare la collezione sulla pelle e sugli intrecci usati in passato da mio nonno e alternarli all’uncinetto, una lavorazione che mi è sempre piaciuta poiché mia mamma fin da piccola mi realizzava costumi e cappellini sempre fatti tutti a mano. Tengo molto a questa collezione perchè voglio sottolineare l’alta qualità del Made in Italy: gli intrecci e l’uncinetto sono stati tutti fatti interamente a mano, lavorazioni che richiedono maggior tempo, ma tipiche del bello e ben fatto della manifattura italiana.

A/M is a collection that I really care about, linked to my family because it is thanks to them that I realized all the shoes that accompany the clothes of the collection from scratch. I wanted to pick up and talk about my grandfather’s story, what he did in his life, what he created. My idea was to focus on the skin and the weaves used in the past by my grandfather and alternate them in crochet, which I have always liked because my mother from an early age made me costumes and hats always made by hand. I really care about this collection beacuse I want to emphasize the high quality of Made in Italy: the weaves and crochet were all done entirely by hand, processes that require more time, but typical of the beautiful and well-made Italian manufacturing.
